MST Financial continued the 2025 Director & Executive Forum series with our third event of the year, and our third consecutive year hosting in Perth, in partnership with Woodside Energy.

We were honoured to be welcomed by Tony Cudmore, Woodside Energy Executive Vice President Sustainability, Policy and External Affairs, who opened the evening with reflections on Australia’s resource exports in supporting regional partners’ strength and independence. Our keynote speaker, The Hon. Ambassador Joe Hockey (ret.), delivered an engaging address on “Resources and National Security”. In a fireside chat with MST Financial’s Senior Energy Analyst, Saul Kavonic. The Hon. Ambassador Joe Hockey (ret.) captivated the room with his perspectives on the strategic importance of Australia’s resources sector, the intersection of energy and geopolitics, and the challenges and opportunities this presents for national security and investment.
